Bryan J. Gushiken, M.D
Breast RadiologistDr. Gushiken is board certified and has been the lead radiologist at Kapi'olani and staff radiologist for the Radiology Group since 2000. He focuses on breast radiology. Dr. Gushiken attended medical school at UCLA and completed fellowship training in ultrasound at UCSF. He is a graduate of USC and Iolani.

Ann A. Ohata, M.D.
Breast RadiologistAnn A. Ohata, M.D. is a board-certified radiologist with a strong interest in breast radiology intensified by the experience of her mother's breast cancer. Dr. Ohata is a graduate of Punahou School and the University of Hawaii. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at UC Davis/Martinez VAMC and her fellowship at UCSF.

Laura Peterson, M.D.
SurgeonDr. Peterson completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery/ oncology at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. She completed her residency at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns of Medicine, and received her medical degree from U.C. San Diego. She sees patients at the Breast Center and is also a Straub surgeon.

Ian J. Okazaki, M.D.
Medical OncologistDr. Okazaki is board certified in hematology/oncology. His special interests include breast cancer, melanoma, urologic malignancies and immunotherapy for cancer. He leads Kapi'olani's High Risk Breast Program. He joined Straub in 2003. Dr. Okazaki received his degree from the University of Hawaii and completed his residency at Wadsworth VA Medical Center, California, and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics.

Jonathan K. Cho, M.D.
Medical OncologistDr. Cho is in private practice and is an assistant clinical professor with the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training at the City of Hope National Medical Center, C.A. and the University of California, Irvine. He is a graduate of the John A. Burns School of Medicine, and he completed his residency at University of California, Irvine. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Cho has a strong interest in the treatment of breast cancer. He has been active in the promotion of clinical trials as a member of the Southwest Oncology Group and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project.

Jeffrey Killeen, M.D.
PathologistDr. Killeen is director of Pathology at Clinical Labs of Hawaii at Kapi'olani Medical Center. He is also the associate program director of the University of Hawaii's integrated pathology residency program and an assistant clinical professor in both pathology and pediatrics at the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine. He has very strong interests in breast and gynecologic pathology. Dr. Killeen earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Loma Linda University, Calif.

Mark T. Kanemori, M.D.
Radiation OncologistDr. Kanemori is a board-certified radiation oncologist with OnCare Hawaii Inc. He provides radiation oncology services at Kuakini, Queen's and Tripler, and Leeward Radiation Oncology. He completed his residency at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, in Maryland, and his internship at St. Francis Hospital, Illinois. He earned his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He has a strong interest in caring for patients with breast cancer and provides consulting at Kapi'olani.

Audrey Yoneshige, P.T.
Physical TherapistAudrey Yoneshige, P.T. is a registered physical therapist. She assists breast cancer patients following surgery to improve function and range of motion. She is also a certified lymphedema therapist and treats women for lymphedema, which is swelling of the arm resulting from removal of the lymph nodes. Audrey received her physical therapy degree from Texas Woman's University.

Clinical PsychologistDr. Pillen received his masters and doctorate degrees from DePaul University, IL. He specializes in women's health issues and sees patients at the Breast Center and Women's Cancer Center.

Patient NavigatorCeleste is responsible for helping patients understand and feel comfortable about their diagnostic breast procedures. She serves as coordinator and navigator guiding and supporting women.

Terri Imada, A.P.R.N., ANP-C
High Risk Nurse PractitionerTerri has a strong background in breast health and coordinates all aspects of Kapi'olani's High Risk Breast program, the first in the state. She meets with women at high risk to develop individualized surveillance plans.

Michele Murray, M.S.
Genetic CounselorMichele Murray is a certified genetic counselor. Michele meets confidentially with women who have concerns about the chance that they or their children may develop breast or gynecological cancer. Michele earned her master's degree from Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
